twenty twelve

hello everyone! how was your holidays? i hope you all had a blast! =)

it was my first time to spend Christmas and New Year miles away from home and my family. the inevitable feeling of sadness was there for me to feel. however, God had his own way to make sure  i wasn’t alone to celebrate Jesus’ birthday and to welcome the beautiful year ahead filled with His surprises and blessings. =)

Christmas Eve dinner at Marche with the power couple Gino and Pao. i took my red lips for a spin by pseudo kissing the 2 badets para mainis ko lang sila! hehe.

diring diri lang si baklah! hahaha.

Christmas day was a lazy day and i spent the whole morning talking to my mother and sisters and lying in bed all afternoon. i went to Wiley and Derek’s place for dinner and food was AWESOME! i have to give it to GF who cooked the baked mac which surprisingly was a success dahil may isang nag-take home ng isang tray nun! hehe.

my friend Hazel also came over for the holidays and we got to spend Gino’s birthday together.

MMK ang peg! nahiya naman kay Ma’am Charo yung mga poinsettia! lol.

i just planned to just stay home on New Year’s Eve, Skype my mother and sisters and sleep my way through ’til the calendar shifts to 2012 but Hazel and I got invited to dinner by Gino’s parents and watch the fireworks and countdown at Marina Bay.

sa dami ng expats na nasa paligid, eto naman talaga ang bumuhay ng todo sa katawang lupa ko! isa sya sa pinaka gwapong taong nakita ko sa buong buhay ko! promise!

may i request talaga kami ng pic pac with Chef (close?!!).

for one night only: itinodo ko na ang pagiging jologs! snapshot of the love team.. wish ko lang talaga!  he was so nice and he even said, “Mabuhay!” since he knew we are Filipinos. my heart skipped so many beats just by looking at him! SO HIGH SCHOOOOOOL!!!

Dear Lord, ibigay nyo na po sya sakin. ‘Di na po ako choosy. Promise po talaga, magiging maganda po for sure ang combination ng genes namin. Thank you! =)

well, tuloy ang kwento.

after ng ultimate high sa buffet at sa kagwapuhan ni Chef Jan, we went straight to the hotel room to have a bird’s eye view of the New Year countdown in Marina bay..

i was happy and sad at the same time during the fireworks display. it was so beautiful but i wish my family was there to see it too.. next year, hopefully with God’s grace, we’ll be together that time to witness it as well… =)

2011 was a tough year and was also rewarding in so many ways.

our wins, even how small they may seem to be still overpowered the losses we had.

dream. yet, do not be stuck in it. let it lead you to the road that would make it come to life.

soar high 2012! 

suck it, john cusack! this year is not yet the end of everything! the world has yet to realize that humanity can still rise above the chaos. it’s never too late to start the change. =)
